www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_PRamzagYoWe've got an issue where it's sort of touching on the topic of feminism, but a TheYoungTurks reported a case a while back about a kid who was bullied for wearing a backpack with a picture from the cartoon show My Little Pony on it. Now I ask, why is it males are judged harshly for acting or having an interest in feminine things? I don't see tomboys being criticized for the reverse, gender stereotyping in society is really messed up, also not all males who are into femininity are actually homosexual, not that it matters but that is the usual assumption when it comes to issues like this.

As a total Brony, I find this to be sick. There are so many good things to be learned from My Little Pony and no one should be discouraged from enjoying a cartoon.

It is sick and I don't know why bullying is somehow more accepted in society than any other form of abuse, considering the fact that it has led to a lot of suicides, retaliations and possibly even kids growing up to being psychotic as a result of what they endured. Got nothing against bronies here, I still watch some cartoons myself sometimes.

When I was growing up, almost all of the cartoons were violent, so to the extent bronies are kinder, that's a great way to mold future generations, and it's far better that people watch cartoons where characterizers behave well than watching real life media where everyone is going around killing each other. Again, overcoming free will belief is about understanding that we humans become who we become largely because of what we see and hear.

Same but even in some of those violent shows, the protagonists would offer the antagonists the chance to change their ways by doing their time in prison. But anything to do with heroes had this idea of good vs evil going on with them, as far as animated TV shows go, only Batman really showed even partially what was supposed to be done with maniacs, just like Arkham Asylum, that may very well be the future of prisons if this free will belief is done away with.

Good point Jamie; I think that although younger generations are much more comfortable with guys expressing feminine traits and women expressing masculine traits, many older people have not been able to reach that level of acceptance. The better we understand that humans don't have a free will, the easier it will be for everyone to accept that we all have both feminine and masculine traits, and that a balance of the two is probably far more evolved and useful than people being too macho or too girly.

Males and females are not as different as people like to believe. We both enter this world the same way and it was not our choice.

That's just it though, misogyny is like a plague, it has existed in our society before I was born and hints of sexism or anti-homo remarks are portrayed in various 'comedy' shows we've been watching, of course we're not supposed to take them seriously but the point remains, history has had terrible ideas on how a society should run.

This is so cute, and true at the same time, stories or toys of superheroes aren't just for boys, some males like watching My Little Pony, Powerpuff Girls and other cartoon shows that may be considered girly. www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/girl-7-gets-tesco-to-remove-stupid-sign-suggesting-superheroes-are-for-boys-9882725.html

Perhaps these plagues are similar to the plague of free will. The anti-woman and anti-gay beliefs seem to be very old just like the free will belief.
